Jocelyn Moran is a reporter for NBC Bay Area News at 11 p.m., where she covers the stories impacting communities across the Bay Area. A bilingual journalist, Jocelyn reports in both English and Spanish, bringing viewers in-depth coverage of breaking news, community issues, and the people shaping the region.
Jocelyn joined NBC Bay Area in 2023, returning home to the Bay Area after reporting across California's Central Valley. Before joining NBC Bay Area, she was a reporter at CBS Bay Area. Prior to that, she joined KSEE24 & CBS47 in Fresno in 2019, where she covered a wide range of stories including breaking news, wildfires and how the pandemic affected the communities of the Central Valley.
Originally from the Bay Area, Jocelyn graduated from San Diego State University with bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Spanish. Proud of her Guatemalan heritage, she is bilingual in English and Spanish.
When she's not working, Jocelyn enjoys visiting coffee shops throughout the Bay, cheering on the San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors, and exploring all that the Bay Area has to offer. She is proud to be back home, telling the stories in the communities that shaped her.
